Office Hours, Tuesday

The problem with seguing into class after a mildly worldview-upsetting adventure back home was that after two weeks, Kerrigan still didn't actually have a decent syllabus set up.

So she was in her office, making ridiculous amounts of coffee as she tried to figure things out.

"River." Kerrigan glanced up from her half-written syllabus, relieved, and smiled back.

She crossed the room to where to coffe could be found. "Want another cup?" she asked, preparing one for herself.

"Please."

She'd already had a couple of cups, but one more couldn't hurt, right? "Relieve my suffering."

River chuckled, and made a cup for Kerrigan, then placed in on her desk. "Suffering?" She took a seat next to the cup.

"I'm trying to work out my syllabus," Kerrigan said, wryly, pulling her cup towards her.

"Dividing knowledge into nice compartments." River sipped her coffee, giving Kerrigan a cheerful look.

"Pinning random words on the donkey, is more like it," Kerrigan snorted, sipping her own coffee and staring helplessly down at the paper.

"Need assistance?" River still looked cheerful.

River shrugged and took another sip of her coffee.
