Kerrigan's Office, Wednesday
Her office hadn't changed much. Something to be said for small favors, but Kerrigan wasn't really sure whether this was one or not. Her coffee maker still rested on a shelf in the corner, her computer still stood untouched, and, as she found to her profound relief, there was still a little box of painkillers in the desk.
Kerrigan grabbed a glass of water, sat down, and took two. The headaches were starting to get much worse than they used to, and she was starting to get ready to throttle someone if they didn't go away.

She leaned across the desk, carefully. "Sokka," Kerrigan said, frankly, "You see any Zergs, you run like hell, okay?"

Why the hell was she having this conversation with a student when Roy and Harriet had been aching to have it? Kerrigan had no clue; she just knew she was angry. "Or I might as well have. So next time you decide to declare your intentions to march into a goddamn Zerg hive, you use the brains God gave you and don't."

"Will do," he told her firmly. "If I see any Zergs, I'll stay safe, I'll keep other people safe, and I'll let you know so you can get revenge."

She took a breath of air. It didn't shake. "I'd like to think I taught you kids something."

"Well," Kerrigan said, shifting her focus to Sokka as best she could, "For a loudmouth, you were never too bad a student anyway."
