Normally, Kerrigan blocked out the chatter of Zerg, left it to the back of her mind, or didn't tap into it at all. But today they were involved in an... interesting excavation, and so she was more than averagely distracted.

She was still at her desk, though, knowing full well she should be taking regular office hours. Her expression, though, was endlessly distant, as if she was staring not just through the wall, but through the entire school and the geography ahead.
