Corner of the Junk Yard and Beyond, Sunday Morning

Kerrigan had specifically instructed River to get her one of those smaller, modified dropships the Dominion had been flying around lately. At the very least, it'd catch people's attention a little less than the Overlords she usually used for transportation.

And 'not catching people's attention' was a big thing at the moment. She had, after all, a student to look after, punish, and, well, facilitate in blowing shit up in a far safer locale. If that meant getting a good bead on her powers, then, well, that was just convenient, wasn't it?

There was another package on board - a Ghost suit River had, ah, acquired for Emma - but that could be delivered later. Right now, she was waiting for a rebellious little firestarter.

She was going out.

Out like, away from the island.

Charlie was just a step behind yelling 'Field trip!', but fortunately to Kerrigan, she was also about to freak out, so they both evened out. In a way.

So cue Charlie approaching, looking more or less grim, but, oddly enough, interested. And curious. She would never know just how glad she was for Kerrigan to have ditched the idea of traveling on an Overlord. "Okay, let's do this shit."

"Thanks for the youthful enthusiasm," she said, dryly, and opened up the hatch for entry. "There's a rock just out past the coast. Big enough for our purposes."

"And far enough too, I hope", said, more to herself than to the woman, as she stepped into the ship, trying not to stare much. Suffice to say, it wasn't going that well.
