Another day at the office.

Kerrigan tapped the code in with a sigh, pulled the door open, and went inside. She slammed it shut behind her, leaning against the surface for a few precious seconds before moving into the kitchen to get something to drink.

She should probably get to work on her suit's maintenance program.

Sarah flopped down on the couch and stayed there.

"Well you're the one who likes paperwork," he teased.

"I wouldn't be the one arrested," she snorted.

"Paperwork as bail," Roy mused. "That could work."

"With you?" Kerrigan asked, moving her head back a little. "Yeah."

"There's that whole confidentiality thing though," he turned his head to look at her as he felt her move. "Might just have to make everyone fill out their own papers."

"That would just constitute laziness," she told him dryly, raising both her eyebrows again.

"Your point being?" Roy didn't see a problem with that.

"You're still a pig." She took a sip of whiskey, but now she was grinning slightly.

"I'll just have to live with it then," Roy concluded, finishing off the last of his glass.

"It's not really something you can avoid," Kerrigan replied, still with a grin, and added, "At least you're not a politician."

He paused. "Can you put that in writing and show it to Aly?"

She just snickered. "Politicians are more subtle."

"I can be very subtle," Roy argued. "I'm just choosing not to be right now." He frowned. "Not that I'm a politician."

"Roy," she said frankly, and with a hint of a snort, "Telepath. Subtle is annoying."

"See? Exactly why I'm choosing not to be right now," he said instantly, happy to support his cause.

"Of course," she snickered again. "Tells 'em like you sees 'em."

"Why do I feel like you're mocking me?" Roy asked her.

"Because I am?" Kerrigan returned, dryly.

He huffed and leaned back, closing his eyes. "You like me," he told her.

She leaned back, too. "Well, obviously," Kerrigan smirked. Maybe a little fondly. "Otherwise I wouldn't be mocking you."

He grinned. "Mocking as a sign of affection. I shouldn't have known it really."

"Don't let it go to your head, Mustang. I can still kick your ass."

"I'll keep that in mind any I'll try to be humble," he promised, though really he probably didn't know what the word meant.

"I'm not holding my breath," she snorted, and moved her arm enough that she could sip her whiskey again.

"Don't do it too long," Roy deadpanned. "I heard it isn't healthy."
