Office Hours, All Day Thursday

Having been out of town for her usual office hours, Kerrigan figured it was probably a good idea to have another round up somewhere that week.

Besides, it's not like she had anything better to do. Except continue messing around with that computer.

...Hopefully, she would be able to get this all to work when she put it back together afterwards.

25 Unicorn Street, Thursday Evening

The upside of having most of your house rigged with a state-of-the-art (well, for the time period - back home it wouldn't last two seconds) security system was, amongst other things, being able to hang out in the kitchen drinking milk from the container without having to be armed.

Okay, so this wasn't a concern for most people, but Kerrigan had only just adjusted to living in a place that couldn't fall out of the sky and kill you if you weren't paying attention. All the other stuff was going to take time. Like not checking the pantry for 'lings every two hours.

One thing was for sure: she was going to have to get used to a higher state of alert again if she ever made it back home.

Mmm, milk.
