She had a couch. And a record player. And--

A birthday party, apparently. Maybe. She wasn't sure.

River carried the cake into the living room, balancing it on one hand and holding her glass in the other. The cake was covered in green coloured whipped cream and decorated with small green peas in a complex and neat pattern. Underneath the surface there were caramel sauce and verious other ingredients.

River beamed at the others, even at Lee. "We should sing. It's a birthday party."

If one was careful, one could hear Kerrigan muttering oh god under her breath. But she neatly held up a plate and went, "More cake?" afterwards.
