She frowned at the viewscreen. It was thought, not complaint, that did it.

"River," she called. It wasn't necessary to differentiate between whether she was thinking or speaking the command. She expected it to be answered.

She nodded, and half-turned, fixing inhuman eyes on River. "So there is only one course of action," Kerrigan said. "Take the Cerebrate with you. I don't want a trace of them to remain; although there are some I might want to tend to... personally."

"Won't interfere with that," River replied. "Plenty of others."

She flexed her wings.

"Make sure none of them remain," she said. "Duran estimates that it will be six minutes after our initial attack before anyone can scramble together any forces to oppose us. Make good use of that window."
