After last night, Sarah Kerrigan knew it was right about time to reprioritize the details of her little home improvement adventure; the level of break-ins was staggering for an island of this size (she realised the irony of her presence in the house, but had no need of it). The moment permissibly modded Deadpool had left the house, she began work on an early warning system.

There were no missiles involved, and the house was starting to look a little empty (besides the ball pit) for all the retooling (read: stripping of items) she was doing, but safety measures came first.

He raised an eyebrow, watching her curiously. "He's a mercenary, I doubt it will stay at that."

"Nah," she said, finishing the roll quickly, "Mercs are the easy part."

"The easy part of what exactly?" he couldn't help but ask.

Kerrigan smiled vaguely at him, propping the roll up against the wall and getting up. "Living in a fixer-upper," she said. "Now I'm going to have to find a place to put this thing."

"Did you get that hole in the roof closed? You could put it underneath that," Roy suggested.

"First thing I did after you left," Kerrigan said, glancing up at the ceiling just to check. "But I'm glad to hear you thinking with me," she smirked.

"When I see a problem, I like to help find a solution," Roy smirked back at her. "But I'm certain you'll find the perfect use for it."

"It's a swimming pool, Sheriff," Kerrigan grinned, "Its uses are many."

His grin grew wider as he could think of a few. "They are rather useful," he agreed.

Yeah, that was one you could catch from the outside as well as the in. "Whatever you're thinking? Not going to happen," Kerrigan said, but her tone was nothing if not amused.

"Shame," Roy said, still grinning. "It could be a lot of fun."

"Please," Kerrigan said, "Bathing suits lack class." Not that she had a particularly high opinion of class, but hey.

He chuckled, eye glinting with amusement. "They just have a different kind of class, but if you prefer to go more full out then I will not argue with it."

"Pig!" Kerrigan said, but there was no particular offense behind it. More like laughing, really.

"I actually meant dressing up," Roy replied. "I actually do have some standards but if that's what you prefer..."

She snorted. "Dressing up, I can do," Kerrigan said, "Just as long as there's no actual dresses involved. They get in the way."

He tilted his head and quickly looked her up and down, as if trying to make up his mind. "See, now you're just making me want to see that."

"I mean it," Kerrigan said, her voice a gently mocking warning, "No dresses."

"It's a shame, but I'll have to live with it," he teased. "I still want to see the dressing up."

"Well, I can't dress up without a reason," Kerrigan said, "It's against the rules. Not to mention pointless."

"Mmmmmm," Roy looked thoughtful as if he really needed time to come up with one. "How about dinner?"

She crossed her arms. "Might be a reason," Kerrigan remarked, with a smile pulling on her mouth, "I'd have to check the tactics handbook."

"Of course," he nodded seriously, a similar smile curving his lips. "How long do you think that will take?"

"Oh, I don't know," she grinned, "Might be Saturday, might be Sunday... It's a big book."
